DE2UK Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 I have searched this site and other Ford and Galaxy sites, but can't find any details about the rear fog light wiring on the Ford Galaxy. I have the 2000 2.3 gas model. So the question is: What complications are involved in changing the rear fog lamp from one side to the other? Thanks for any advice. Quote

I would think its not a major problem ! you need to check to see if the off side light fitting has a bulb holder and a red lens (not white) Some units have the bulb holder in place with a plastic blank which needs removing and poss just a bulb fitting so you will have two fogs. If it has a bulb holder just run a wire from one side to the other and connect a both ends. If it has not got provision for a lamp holder, try local scrap dealer to get a RHS light cluster and just wire across Radiotwo Quote
seatkid Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 On my 98 model both sides are wired, just have to remove the bulb carrier and pop out the blanking plug (carefully), inset new bulb in carrier and then you can have bulbs both sides! Quote
gregers Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 on my old n reg galaxy everything was fitted apart from a bulb. Quote
